How do I bid? To bid just click on the "Bid Now" link located in the top right hand corner of the screen for the item you are interested in, fill in the details and hit send. We will get back to you as soon as we can (during office hours) to let you know if you have been successful. When can I bid? You can place a bid by email at any time you like and it will be processed by us as soon as possible during office hours. What is the price guide? The price guide is included as an indication of where the bidding is expected to start. Obviously bids at the top end or above the range have a greater chance of success. Good luck. How do I get a catalogue? Catalogues are available from our Auction rooms on the morning of the Auction. A list of items in the Auction appears on our website but please remember that we accept late entries to our Auction and so this will not be a complete list. When can I inspect the items? Photos of the items are available on our web site, when you have selected an item you wish to purchase we can arrange a private inspection if you wish. Does any warranty apply to the items sold? NO. All items are sold as is. All lots sold must be taken as they are and neither the vendor or the auctioneer will be liable for any misdescription of goods. All lots are to be taken with all faults (if any) and no guarantees of any nature whatsoever as to the goods sold are given by the vendor or auctioneer. What is a Referred Bid? A Referred bid is when the highest bid at the auction is below the reserve price for the item. This price is held and submitted to the vendor for consideration. How do I pay for the items I have purchased? Payment is arranged by us at an agreed location or at our registered office, whereby payment must be by cash, bank cheque or electronic transfer during business hours. At the same time the purchaser can complete his/her final inspection and take delivery. When can I pick up my items? Items will be delivered into your possession upon receipt of the purchase price. We can arrange delivery of your purchase if required. How can I sell my bike, boat or caravan with BBC Auctions? Just call us and make a time for us to view and photograph your Bike, Boat or Caravan and usually it can be displayed on our web site ready to be sold the same day. Can you arrange delivery of my boat, bike and caravan I have for sale? Yes, we can arrange pick up and delivery of your boat, bike or caravan to our Auction rooms or from our Auction rooms to your house. Do I have to pay additional GST on the items I purchase? No. Our auctions are conducted on a GST inclusive basis unless otherwise stated.
